Student athletes from The Park Academies Trust represented Swindon at the Wiltshire Cross Country Trials at Sheldon School in Chippenham.
The top 13 athletes from each race have been selected to represent Wiltshire at the Southwest championships in Newquay, Cornwall on 1 February:

Year 7 Boys - Lewis Parker- 4th - Qualified
Junior Boys - Doug Kirby - 6th - Qualified (and a year young for his age group)
Year 7 Girls - Maya Mason - 15th
Year 7 Boys - Seb Welenski - 30th
Lydiard Park Academy
Year 7 Boys - Jack Saunders - 7th - Qualified
Junior Girls - Olivia Porton - 13th - Qualified
Intermediate Boys - Gethin Jenks - 15th
Highworth Warneford
Year 7 Boys - Ethan Davidson - 38th
Intermediate Boys - Oliver Lewis - 28th
Kayleigh Humphrey, Leader of PE, Abbey Park School said: “Our athletes performed amazingly and were a real credit to their schools.
"The cold and icy conditions made this a tough race and so the results are even more of an achievement and we’re so proud of everyone who took part.”
