Wildcats through to title race

The Swindon Wildcats have officially qualified for the round-robin stage of the 24/25 NIHL National Play Offs.

The Swindon Wildcats defeated the Solway Sharks 6-5 at the Link Centre on Saturday 8 February, coming back from 4-2 down. The 2-points from the weekend, mean the team have officially qualified for the round-robin stage of the 24/25 NIHL National Play Offs. The play-offs will be held over three weekends: 29-30 March, 5-6 April and 12-13 April 2025.

A spokesperson said: “Thank you Wildcats Fans for your immense support this weekend for our single game against the Solway Sharks. It was a tough one for the team, but they kept the fight on and secured the important 2-points, needed to keep us in the title race.”

The Wildcats will host 3 more home games at the Link and continue the match night experience for their fans. Tickets for play-offs will be released soon.

A spokesperson said: “We now face the current table leaders, MK Lightning this Saturday Night, the first game of our double header. It doesn't get much bigger than this weekend to secure that 4-point weekend.

“The team need your roars and cheers more than ever, and Swindon needs to be booming with support for the Cats!”
