Swindon-based housing developer Hills Homes has been nominated for the Best Small New Housing Development award, by the LABC, for a second successive year.

Hills Homes was successful in the Best Small New Housing Development category for its ‘Tommy’s Barn’ development in Bishopstone last year, and will be hoping to replicate their achievement at this year’s awards for ‘The Orchard’ development in South Marston.

The results will be announced at the West of England LABC Building Excellence Awards, in Bristol, later this month.

Nick King, Group director Homes, said: “The news that Hills has been nominated in this category for a second successive year is fantastic. It is a testament to Hills’ exacting standards and commitment to high quality.”

The award category recognises the effort and attention to detail that has been invested by the developers to: adapt to site constraints, carefully plan each layout and maximise the overall appearance of the development.
