Swindon Croquet Club: season draws to an end with last competition of 2019

Swindon Croquet Club members took part in their last competitive event of the 2019 season - with the prestigious Lydiard Plate Association Croquet competition over two successive Sundays.

Following some keenly contested games. Andy Smith ran out the winner, recording four wins out of five with Tony Mayer and John Small joint runners-up with three wins. As a result of his exceptionally proficient play and this impressive victory, Andy’s handicap is now reduced to 3.5 which is especially noteworthy given that he started the season on a handicap of 11.
