A man has been arrested following a drugs warrant carried out at premises on a trading estate in Swindon.

Yesterday (Thursday 18 May 2017) at 12.40pm officers from the Dedicated Crime Team stopped a vehicle on Drove Road where a man was arrested.  Subsequently, the team executed the warrant at business premises on the ISIS industrial estate where drugs worth an estimated street value of more than £1,000 were discovered.

A 38-year-old man from West Swindon was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class-A drugs and has been released under investigation.

Det Con George Booth from the Dedicated Crime Team said:  “This was a successful warrant by our officers which led to the arrest of this individual.

“I would like to encourage members of the community to report any suspicions relating to drug activity – all information we receive helps us build up a better picture of the scale of criminal activity taking place.”
