NHS Blood and Transplant are calling on Swindon locals to donate blood.
The donation day will take place Wednesday 27 December at Swindon Town Football Club, with appointments available between 12.30pm to 4pm and 4.50pm to 7.15pm. 
Giving blood enables the NHS to treat thousands of patients across the UK with live saving operations, for which they rely on blood donations. The majority of people aged between 17 and 65 are viable to give blood, but often think otherwise.
