Thieves stole cash and alcohol in knifepoint robbery - did you witness this incident?

Detectives are investigating a robbery which occurred at Greenmeadow Stores, Haydon Wick, Swindon.

At approximately 9.10pm on March 13, two men entered the store wearing crash helmets. 
 
One of the men was holding what is believed to have been a knife which he used to threaten one of the shop workers. 
 
The pair went behind the counter and stole cash from the till and alcohol from the shelves. They then left the store and made off on a motorbike. 
 
Det Con Stephanie England, of Swindon CID, said: “This incident happened on Friday night – it’s likely there were a number of people in the area at the time who may have seen or heard something. 
 
“We are keen to hear from any witnesses who saw two men wearing crash helmets enter or leave the store around 9.10pm on Friday. 
 
“We would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen a motorbike being ridden erratically on roads and footpaths in the area of North Swindon between 9pm and 10.45pm on Friday. Any information you have may be significant to our investigation.”
