Two men were arrested this morning following a warrant at an address in Old Walcot, Swindon.

Officers from the South Swindon Community Policing Team conducted the warrant under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act in Bampton Grove at approximately 7.30am today.

Cannabis was located inside the property as well as paraphernalia to suggest drug dealing had been taking place.

Two men, aged 25 and 27, from Swindon, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs.

They both remain in custody in Gablecross.

Community Coordinator Philip Day said: “Again, this was a positive warrant for officers from the local CPT who have seized a quantity of cannabis, and arrested two men.

“We would continue to encourage residents who suspect drug dealing in their area to contact police on 101.”
