Visual PR has signed up branding, web design and marketing company GEL Studios and is due to start broadcasting for the agency this month
Visual PR, based in Swindon and founded by professional motorsports commentator, Chris Dawes, creates talk show style, interactive productions for its clients, which can include businesses, charities and sports organisations.
The service extends far beyond the regular shows, which are broadcast live (or filmed ‘as live’) directly to the organisation’s YouTube channel and social media platforms.
GEL Studios, a Swindon based company, has now come on board, and its first monthly, interactive show is due for broadcast on November 27. It is also planning to offer Visual PR services to its clients, so they can have their own branded productions.
Graeme Leighfield, GEL Studios’ founder, said “What Visual PR does is connect a lot of the dots together; it adds a new dynamic to marketing. But more than just the show, it’s also all the content it can generate afterwards as well. So, there is an immense amount of value in there for any SME that wants to use it.”
The client-branded shows are broadcast and produced via an online virtual studio which enables Chris to include interviews, host multiple guests at the same time from wherever they are based, different camera focuses and angles, and there is even a green room for those waiting to come on.
Each show can be repurposed, with excerpts turned into numerous short videos of varying length, for use as social media posts or for marketing. Audio-only versions of each show can be turned into a podcast. The run-up to each show also presents opportunities to engage audiences and create expectation and anticipation.
Chris said: “It’s great to have Graeme and the team from GEL Studios on board, and I’m really looking forward to producing shows for them, as well as some of their own clients, in due course. Visual PR is an exciting service for organisations to fill the gap between PR and marketing with live client-branded, interactive, online broadcasts from our virtual studio, which elevate the brand and ignite audience interaction. They really bring PR to life in a world where we need to stay visible.”
Visual PR was also recently given a shout-out on X (formerly Twitter) by BBC Dragons’ Den’s former dragon Theo Paphitis, and invited to become one of an elite group of small businesses in the entrepreneur’s Small Business Sunday network.
