If you’re looking to travel a little further afield within Europe, be sure to apply for your EHIC card before you go. While we are able to take advantage of the free NHS healthcare system, the same cannot be said if you need care while abroad. And, while having proper travel is important, an EHIC card should also be carried on your person while in EU countries as it will allow you much cheaper healthcare options.

Cambridge is a wonderfully charming and characterful city located just to the north of London on the River Cam. While many know of it as being the home of one of the world’s top Universities, this little gem has a great deal more to offer than a good education. It has all the best elements you can expect of a college town, including culture and entertainment, and is married with stunning river views, great shopping and incredible architecture. Stonehenge

A bit closer to home is one of the most famous sites in the world - Stonehenge which can be found on a large patch of land sitting on Salisbury Plain. The area is also home to some of the most important Bronze Age structures and finds in the UK. There have been many theories as to how the rocks were put in place and why- we know that from 2500BC Neolithic and Bronze Age man started to bring these stones from Wales to the Marlborough Downs and the construction was not completed until 1600BC!
