Winners of Swindon's 2018 Pride of Swindon award honoured at plaque unveiling

Swindon Mayor Maureen Penny unveiled a plaque to commemorate the 2018 Pride of Swindon award winners at Swindon Central Library on Tuesday.

After an introduction by Swindon 105.5 Community Radio manager Shirley Ludford, the mayor told a crowd of winning and nominated groups and individuals: "I think you are all terrific because of the positive contribution you make in the community."

With a flourish, she lifted a cloth to reveal the 2018 plaque - joining other recognised winners on plaques dating back to 2009.
