Witnesses sought following collision between two lorries

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses to a traffic collision on the Great Western Way, Swindon yesterday between two lorries.

The incident happened just after 4am on the carriageway in to Swindon, between the Blagrove and Mannington roundabouts.

It's believed an Iceland lorry was stationary on the carriageway when the other truck  collided with it.

The male driver of the second lorry was taken to Southmead Hospital, Bristol, with life threatening head injuries and is currently in a stable condition, the male driver of the first vehicle sustained minor injuries.

PC Andy Lee said:  "We are still investigating what happened, however I would like to speak to anyone who may have heard or seen this collision or anything suspicious, in connection with this, at this time this morning.
"If you can help in anyway please contact me or my colleagues at the Roads Policing Unit."
