Young scientists will be given the opportunity to delve into the world of forensic science for this year’s White Horse Federation Science Festival.

The event, on March 16, will be held at Devizes School on March 16 and involve more than 250 primary and secondary school children in a collaborative exploration of science in a secondary school setting.

As part of the ‘Death in Devizes’ day year 7 students from Devizes School, will outline an unsolved case, present evidence and assign tasks to the investigators who will be called upon to use their understanding of scientific techniques to help solve the mystery.

The White Horse Federation is a Swindon based multi academy trust that sponsors eight primary schools, one primary special school, two secondary schools and one secondary special school which was launched in September 2012.
