CANOEISTS
Did you know that there's a Swindon & District Canoe Club? It was formed last
November and already has over 80 members. There's no age limit, all you need to
do is be capable of swimming at least 50 metres.
We had our last meet on Saturday 24 March on the River Avon & our next is on Sunday •
& there's a programme planned for well into the year including trips on the Thames
& 'Wye, boat building and beginners courses. rie have the use of Dorcan Swimming Pool
every Wednesday from 8.30 to 10pm but we are hoping soon to change to Saturdays.
So, if you have never been in a canoe or are an expert or in between come & join us.
