On Saturday 21st March 1981, the Post Box outside the 7 Eleven shop was set on fire and
the contents totally destroyed. Because this is the third time in 6 months that this
has happened the post office are seriously consdering removing this facility. '_"his is
one of the many facilities that the TRO has agitated for and got for the residents over
T the past 18 months.
I could use a whole page telling you what I think of the small number of mentally
retarded vandals who seem intent on turning Toothill into a pigsty in order that they may
feel at home - but that would do no good because you are to blame.

O because of your apathy. Somebody must see the acts of vandalism take place, but nobody
reports it - either to the Police or their street representative. Which brings me to a

final point; the TRO needs man more street representatives to cover our area.
If you are proud of Toothill and want the best for it, then ring me, Bob Bannister on
34695 or Tony Dole on 694716 and ask for more details. Better still, come and meet the
other TRO street representatives on the 4th Monday of every month in the Community Hut,
Dunwich Drive. If you cannot spare one evening per month to be a street rep., we would
still like to hear from you; but please help us to help you by reporting acts of
vandalism immediately.
