Christmas is inevitably a hectic time for house-
wives and a hectic time for shopping.
So I hope this supplement to The Link, may
serve as a useful check-list of items that you
may need over the Christmas break. Perhaps,
too, it will indicate that there is precious little
need to venture beyond your own, local,
district centre for anything to do with the
festive season, including a whole range of
toys and ideas for presents. i Harr^a

Avoiding the crush
But perhaps the most useful tip I can give is to
remind you that Carrefour is always open
late, every night, from Tuesday to Saturday —
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays until
8.00 p.m.; Fridays until 9.00 p.m., and
Saturdays until 7.00 p.m. Tuesdays and
Wednesdays are still fairly quiet, so for a
family shopping trip, a Tuesday or a
Wednesday evening — maybe including a
visit for the children to see Father Christmas
in the grotto — will be the best time to choose.
Above all, though, have a Happy Christmas,
coupled with our best wishes for the New
Year, from everyone at Carrefour.
