Quilt raffles raises £500
Swindon's Prospect Foundation received a donation of500 from the
West Swindon branch of the Townswomen's Guild, the result of an
eighteen month fundraising effort.
The money was raised from stalls, coffee mornings, lunches and a
big raffle for a quilt made by Oonagh Lilley and the branch's craft
group.
The raffle was drawn by David Roberts, fundraising officer for the
Prospect Foundation who said the Guild had made a marvellous
effort. The Foundation's fundraising target for 1988/89 is £450,000.
Pictured here are members of the craft group holding up their quilt and, rear
