     Shaw Ridge Leisure Park plans on view


   After months of waiting, the plans for West
   Swindon's 210,000 square foot leisure park
   on the side of Shaw Ridge have been made
   public. The scheme will be on show in The
   Mall at the Link Centre during the week
   starting 21st January.
     The Shaw Ridge site is owned by
   Thamesdown Council who selected Carter
   Commercial Developments Limited from a
   shortlist of schemes to develop the site. Since
   August, Carters havebeen in discussion with
   the Council's Planning Department refining
   the proposals. The public consultation exer-
   cise at the end of the month is being carried
   out before the project is put before Th-
   amesdown Council's Planning Committee
   on 27th February.
