Swindon Wildcats enter a new era
as they prepare for their sixth ice
hockey season at Link Centre.
Government legislation now pre-
vents Thamesdown Council from
running the team and a new com-
pany - Swindon Wildcats Limited -
has been formed to ensure the con-
tinuation of ice hockey in Swindon.
However, Link Centre will ac-
tively support the side and coordi-
nator John Fisher will be a consult-
ant to the new company which is
headed by Bill Roche, a successful
businessman in the town.
