History came alive at Lydiard Park on 16 July when all the children at
Tregoze School enacted the periods they have been studying all term.
There was a Tudor wedding in St Mary's Church, Victorian maids and
gardeners being servile, Romans holding chariot races, Greeks being
mythical and Vikings rampaging around the woods.

put on trial at the end of the day in front of a Time Lord brought in from
the schools advisory service. Good was triumphant, history was
restored and the children returned happily to the twentieth century.
