Bradon Forest School's year 8 five-a-side squad just missed out on the
Auto Windscreens Trophy on the hallowed green sward of Wembley
Stadium on 26 May.
Having travelled to London on the Swindon Town bus, the Bradon
team played in town colours against a school wearing the Manchester
City strip in the tournament final, before the Division 1 play-off match.
Head of PE John Wells said, "we all had a tremendous day, one all
involved will never forget. The game was very even and it was
unfortunate to lose out in the last 30 seconds. We certainly did Swindon
proud and all the staff and spectactors were thrilled with the boys'
achievements."
