Farm may get
new lease of life
The future of the Toothill Farm
Centre on Bodiam Drive is being
actively considered again.
Over twenty residents attended
a meeting on 11 February called by
local councillor Dave Cox to dis-
cuss how use of the farm youth
club can be expanded.
The club building, or cow shed,
is used on two evenings a week for
a youth club and the cub scouts
and the external walls are used a
'legal' site for graffiti artists.
The shed housed cows until
twenty years ago and several
projects since have upgraded it for
use by youth groups.
"I was pleased by the interest in
further development at the farm,"
said Dave Cox. "It is a resource for
the community which we should
not allow to deteriorate. Young
people need somewhere to gather.
