Super hero boost for slow readers
People of the Universe can sleep safely in the New Year with two new
super heroes to watch over them.
Sam and Ben are the creation of
Greendown School teacher, Andy
Russell, who has recently had his
first four books published by Ginn.
The science fiction stories fol-
low the adventures of the duo from
the first mission, crash landing on
an asteroid, through to outwitting
Mr Black and Galactic Pirates.
Andy, pictured right, got the idea
for the stories set in the twenty
third century, a couple of years
ago whilst playing a computer
game. Some authors can claim
they can wallpaper a room with
rejection letters from publishers,
amazingly, Andy was accepted by
the first publisher he wrote to.
