Records show that the Bolingbroke was
a licensed hostelry before 1841 in the
ownership of the Bolingbroke family of
nearby Lydiard Park.
Since purchasing The Bolingbroke in
1998, Dawn and Colin Butcher have
established a friendly, welcoming country
restaurant and bar close to Swindon with a
reputation that is spreading far and wide.
