                                                                Garden celebrates the century
                                                          The junior playground at Greenmeadow School used to be a bare

                                                          changes.
                                                            Over £2,000 was raised by the PTA, a grant was made by Swindon
                                                          Council and the rest of the money came from the school. A hedge and
                                                          trees were planted, picnic tables were installed and a Millennium
                                                          garden for quiet sitting and reading was built.
                                                            The work took over a year to complete and parents helped plant the
                                                          flowers in July just before Swindon Mayor Arthur Archer visited the
                                                          school to officially open the garden.
