Freshbrook skippers to go on and on and on
Duracell won't be sponsoring children at Freshbrook School when they take part in a 24 hour sponsored
skip on 6 April, but with community backing you can be sure they will have the energy to raise loads of
cash.
Every child in the school is
taking part along with a ladies
skipping club, in aid of the Brit-
ish Heart Foundation.
Some of the younger chil-
dren are learning to skip spe-
cially for the event. Sinead
Smith aged 10 said, "it's for a
really good cause. I am getting
people I know to sponsor me."
As well as support from fam-
ily and friends the school is
seeking sponsorship from lo-
cal companies.
PE co-ordinator Nicola
Anderton said, "we want to
make this huge and get as many
people involved as possible."
