Dance - folk style
The Wroughton Folk Dance Club
meets on Wednesday evenings at
Wroughton Infants School,off
Markham Road, 7.45pm to 10pm.
Publicity officer Margy Cassidy
describes the evening 'as a motley
bunch of people congregating to
have fun, dance, keep fit and have
a good old chin-wag.'
She adds that folk dancing is
part of our heritage which the club
is trying to keep alive for future
generations, despite all the other
distractions of computer games and
TV.
