Fourth North Swindon school revealed
Plans for a primary school linked to a church at Taw Hill village centre, next to the permanent medical
centre, community centre and shops were put on display at a community exhibition on 22 April.
Architect's Horsley, Huber and
Associates have been commis-
sioned by the Taw Hill medical
practice and the Church of Eng-
land to design all four community
buildings to achieve an integral
appearance. They will also advise
developers on the look of shops.
Bristol diocesan secretary Lesley
Farrell said the project was ex-
tremely exciting and would put
the church at the centre of the com-
munity. "The church and school
will be physically linked to allow
for joint as well as separate uses
when appropriate. We also hope
to make office facilities available
NIEDE to community groups."
