Disability coalition consults in the West
The Swindon Coalition of Disabled People gives a voice to thousands of disabled people in Swindon and the surrounding areas and we are
keen to provide different forums where views can be expressed, writes coordinator Steve Milner.
As part of our on-going programme of consultation, we are holding For further details, contact Steve Milner on 430045, mail:
a meeting in the Link Centre community suite on Thursday 10 October, [email protected] or write to: Swindon Coalition of Disabled People,
2pm to 4pm. Afternoon tea and cakes will be available. Suite 7, Pembroke Centre, Chenev'Vlanor, Swindon SN2 2PQ.
.tA
West Swindon residents are invited to attend to hear about the work
of the Coalition and to raise and discuss issues of importance to them.
For example, do you use local bus services? If you do not, is it because
the buses themselves are not accessible, or is it because the bus stops
and the routes to and from them are not good enough?
What do you think about the services and facilities provided for
disabled people by your local supermarkets, post offices, and other
service providers?
Please come along and let us know.
