Get into the record books on 19 October
Swindon Community Heritage and Swindon Library Service are running a
special event across Swindon as part of 'The Big Draw', a national event run
by the Campaign for Drawing to bring out the artist in everyone.
Inspired by the exciting David
Hackney exhibition, Grimms'
Fairy Tales, which opens at the
Museum and Art Gallery on 19
October, they are inviting
people of all ages to design a
book jacket or illustrate their
favourite story.
The highlight of the day will
be a national attempt to enter
the Guinness book of World
Records with the most people
drawing simultaneously at
midday. Hopefully Swindon will
give the rest of the nation a run
for its money.
