Artists with nowhere to exhibit
Kathleen Danswan, Janet Hand and Jennifer Thompson have just
gained distinctions in their HNC Stitched Textile exams. But, having
studied for two years as distance learners at Gloucester College of Art,
as there is no equivalent course locally, they cannot find anywhere in
the town to show off their talent.
"We would now like to stage an exhibition but as much of our work
requires secure glass cases there is nowhere suitable which is a great
