     School highlights maths and computing
         and becomes a Microsoft centre
   West Swindon's secondary school Greendown launches its bid to                      I•
   become a maths and computing specialist college in January.
     The event, on a date to be confirmed, will be combined with the
   official opening of the £3 million building expansion project which will
   give the school capacity for 285 students a year from September 2008.
     In order to attract £600,000 in Government funding to develop new
   courses for both Greendown students and its partner primary schools             Adventure              16
