Town Festival
Saturday 3 July: Festival procession and fair
At 11.30am the Adamant Marching Jazz Band leads a grand procession
along Wood Street, around Old Town back to The Lawn for displays by
Roman gladiators and soldiers, Tanwood dancers, Moloney Irish danc-
ers. Punch and Judy, sword fencing, martial arts, family fun sports and
all the fun of the fair
Sunday 4 July: Festival in Town Gardens and the Old Town Bowl
commencing with Songs of Praise at1 lam followed by dancing. music,
Indian cultural programme, fairground and the Jonny Wilkinson drop
kick competition
