In North Swindon land north of Tadpole Lane is being targeted for more housing.
At the planning enquiry into the Swindon Borough Local Plan to 2011, Crest
Homes called for Tadpole Farm to be included as a potential development site.
Planners from Swindon Council have taken the view that the area is not required
to meet the land requirements of the Local Plan to 2011. However the Planning
Inspector may indicate that Tadpole Farm has potential for development at some
point in the future. The Inspector's report is due in the Autumn.
