West ladies look for new members
One of West Swindon's longest running groups is keen to recruit
newcomers for its fortnightly meetings.
Now in its twenty-sixth year the West
Swindon Ladies Club meets at Toothill
Community Centre to enjoy speakers,
demonstrations, quizzes, skittles eve-
r rings and trips.
' ^^ Norma Cooper, left, who arrived in
the area in January 1977, has been in-
"^ volved with the club since it started in
/ 1979. "We have a lot of interesting speak-
ers and regularly go out for meals. The
group is a lot of fun."
The club next meets on 20 June. For
