Passion for the arts on display at West library

A spectacular collection of work by
   children at Moredon Junior School
   and Hreod Parkway School, ex-
hibited during the last week of term
will be on display at the West Swin-
   don Library in September.
     A30,000 grant from Arts Coun-
   cil England South West allowed
the children at both schools to work
   throughout the Spring with profes-
   sional artists Toni Robinson and
   Gordon Dickinson of 'No Added
   Sugar' and Artsmad.
The project aimed to build links
   between the primary and second-
   ary school, share artistic knowl-
edge and involve pupils in groups
   making large sculpture pieces, as
   well as individual sculptures and
   paintings.
