Pedal to the pub
As part of European Mobility Week (16 - 22 September) and Interna-
tional Car Free Day (22 September) Sustrans want people to leave the car
at home and take part in Swindon's first ever 'Pedal to the Pub' event.
The ride starts at Coate Water on Sunday 18 September, 11am and
heads for The Forrester's Arms at Common Platt near Peatmoor for
lunch before returning to Coate along Route 45 of the Sustrans National
Cycle Network, a total of about 15 miles.
If you live in North and West Swindon, set off early, meet up at Coate
and return home with the mass cycling mob via the pub. For details call
