Two appliances are based on the
station. One is the standard fire
appliance which responds to a va-
riety of incidents including fires,
hazardous material spills, RTCs
and floodings to name but a few.
The other is an Emergency Sup-
port Unit, a specialist piece of kit
used for the more serious incidents
such as RTCs, hazardous materi-
als, animal rescues (bigger than
hamsters) and all major incidents
that occur within Swindon and as
far afield as Burbage in the south
and Brinkworth to the west.
