Hillside play area now open
One of Swindon's largest and most up to date play facilities on
Groundwell Ridge was completed in early June.
Designed and built by Swindon Council, with £350,000 of developer
contributions, the multi-level play area offers great excitement for
children from Abbey Meads, St Andrew's Ridge and Groundwell.
The January Link highlighted the frustration of parents because of the
delay in completing the area due to the problems of building on a
sloping site.
