Panto star to be patron
The fairy godmother at this year's Wyvern Theatre panto-

Society later this year.
Britt's interest in the society followed the death of her mother
from the illness in 2005. The Alzheimer's Society is the leading
care and research charity for people with all forms of dementia
and their carers. It provides information, education and sup- °r 10
port for carers. It funds medical research, campaigns for im-
proved health and social services and promotes a greater public
understanding of dementia.
