thanks to an idea from nine year old An- to know my picture will be used on uniforms

New headteacher Simon Cowley asked the Mr Cowley said he was delighted with
children to update the old logo of school build- the design. “Annie had a wonderful leap of
ings to reflect the school’s mission statement imagination, her design really sums up our
‘working together, playing together.’ aims at Haydon Wick.”
Annie said her idea came from her mother’s Swindon Council graphic designer Rachel

              You’re Not on Your Own
             If you’re being bullied
             Hold your head high
             Make sure you tell someone
And don’t feel bad to cry
             Bullies make you feel small
But really they’re smaller than you
             There are big cowards
And have nothing better to do
             Don’t hold it in
You’ll feel better when it’s out
You are not on your own
There is nothing you should doubt
             Don’t retaliate
You’ll be in the wrong too
             Don’t get worried
I’ll always be here for you!

Four runner up poems will also
be read by Amie Brown and Lilly
             Hogg, Robyn Jarvis, Kate Iremon-
             ger, Sammy Whittington.
