Marc Tielemans of Let us Auction It (LUAI), Wiltshire’s only eBay drop-
off store, in Cheney Manor, is celebrating another year of successfully
helping local customers sell their valuables.
Auctioning items on the internet has become hugely popular in the
last few years because of the worldwide audience of millions of
potential buyers, in contrast to a traditional auction where perhaps only
100 people or so may attend. Over 20 per cent of goods sold by LUAI
are shipped abroad to America, Japan, Australia or Europe.
Let Us Auction It does all the hard work, from taking photographs,
researching the item and writing a description, to answering emails
from potential buyers, collecting payment from the winning bidder and
posting the item. Simply drop your goods off and wait for the cheque to
arrive. Only items with a value of £35 or more can be accepted.
Apart from interesting artifacts, Marc has sold cars, houses and
complete businesses on eBay. For details see www.letsauctionit.co.uk,
