Police re-open West operations office
Police staff have again set up a base in West Swindon, two years after they were moved to new
headquarters at Gablecross to the east of the town.
Although the former doctor’s
surgery opposite Link Centre was
purchased to act as a sub-police
station after Westlea station was
closed, the public call office only
opened for a few months and offic-
ers had to report for duty at
