School admissions departments across the country will be sending
out letters offering secondary places on 1 March.
This year, with the opening of Isambard Secondary in North Swin-
don, and the falling primary school rolls in West Swindon, the chances
of being offered a first choice look better than ever.
If disappointed over the place offered, contact Swindon Council’s
admissions department on 465790.
Kip up the good work
Over 100 proud parents and grandparents were on hand on 6 February
to congratulate children who attend the town’s two Kip McGrath
Tuition Centres at an awards evening at the Basepoint Business
Centre in Westlea.
The youngsters received trophies and certificates for the achieve-
ment and progress in the last year.
Special needs teachers David and Andrea Parkinson who run Kip
McGrath provide computer assisted opportunities for children to catch
up in maths, English and Science or they can take courses that stretch
their abilities. See below for details about Kip McGrath tuition.
