The opening weekend for the
Get Active Month June 2008
The Festival of Sport is a community focused
event taking place on Saturday 31st May and
Sunday 1st June 2008. The weekend will
be packed full of sports tournaments and free
activities for the whole community to enjoy.
If you’re not the competitive type why not come along
for a family day out and try one of the many free activities
on offer at Coate Water Country Park, The Polo Ground
and Dorcan Recreation Complex. The Macmillan Castles
Bike Ride is again taking place at Croft Sports Centre on
Sunday 1st June. There really is something for everyone
with festival, cultural and sporting activities on offer
throughout the weekend including:
