Architect offers homeowners free advice
Under the Royal Institute of British Architects annual Architect in
the House scheme Swindon architect Edward Tuckes is offering a STEVE BROWN
free one hour consultancy to consider the possibilities of home im-
provement.
Actually, it's not free as anybody who calls up Edward will be asked BUILDING SERVICES
to make a minimum donation of £40 to housing charity Shelter. Now
in its twelfth year, Architect in the House has raised over £700,000 for 07917 367 253
the charity, which helps families who are homeless or trapped in poor
housing to find a permanent home of their own.
Edward, who specialises in residential architecture from extensions Wall & Floor Tiling
and conversions to new houses, said, "with the downturn in the housing Patio & Garden Construction
market it is now worth looking at improving rather than moving. A well
designed house extension will add considerable value to a property, as Complete Kitchen & Bathroom Replacement
well as improving the quality of life for the occupants"
He is a specialist in eco-design and says a home makeover will save Bricklaying & Plastering
on fuel bills in the long run. For details call him on 610593 or mail at 30 years experience
