Race for Life 09 launched
Cancer Research UK supporters are asking Swindon women to do
something amazing to help more people survive cancer.
Registration is now open for the event at Lydiard Park on Saturday
11 July and Sunday 12 July.
Race for Life is the UK’s largest women-only fundraising event series.
Women of all ages and fi tness levels can walk, jog or run 5k. Organis-
ers are aiming to top the 2008 entry of over 4,500 women who helped
raise £268,000.
This year, Cancer Research UK hope to attract 4,750 Swindon partici-
pants and have targeted a fundraising total of £269,200.
