                    ANNE FRANK + YOU - A powerful exhibition created by the Anne Frank Trust
                    including: the chilling ‘genocide tunnel’; a near-life-size replica of Anne’s bedroom;
                    photos and replica artefacts.
                    England Observed - English Heritage’s exhibition of beautiful and stimulating pho-
                    tographs of England over six decades by German émigré John Gay.
               EXHIBITIONS
                    Movement 2000 - Stunning series of paintings depicting displaced people by local artist David Bent,
                    set in the context of a refugee camp within Swindon newest gallery, Post Modern.
                    St. George’s Day - Catch the Mayor’s show on the 23rd or join us and Miss Swindon on Saturday
                    25th April to celebrate the feast of England’s Patron Saint with exciting events in the town centre and
                    beyond - including a VERY BIG Swindon St. George’s Day surprise!
                    24 Hours - On Saturday 18th April, get your camera out and help us to create a unique photographic
                    record of one day in our borough. Just take a photograph of ANYTHING - your family or friends, your
                    football team, your bedroom carpet or just some paint drying!
               CELEBRATIONS
                    Pictures of Africa - A charity evening of amazing South African fi lms and music, with VIP guests
                    including member of Nelson Mandela’s legal team, Lord Joffe, and his artist wife Vanetta.
                    A Thoughtful Film Season - Swindon Film Society has pulled together a series of fi lms all over
                    Swindon, including The Edge of Heaven, When did you last see your father, Wondrous Oblivion...
               SHOWS
                    On the Air - Swindon’s very own community Radio station - Swindon 105.5 - will be dedicating
                    considerable airtime to Think:Swindon through Art to Art, presented by Andrew Brewerton, and Think
                    Week - a series of shows promoting the ideas behind the season.

                    Out and about - Explore secret gardens, cycle around Coate Water, meet new friends at Out of the
                    Can, sign up to ‘climb Everest’, buy a handmade walking stick, hop on the Keeping Swindon Safe bus,
               COMMUNITY
                    or maybe even take on GWR presenters in the Mini Moto Grand Prix.
                    Ffi nk Fforde - Join us for an open forum with top author Jasper Fforde to discuss ways in which
                    literature can infl uence or even change the world - often for the better.
                    Winning Words - Maybe the Think:Swindon poem will inspire you to get writing - your words could
                    win you a fantastic train set, books, puzzles, a notebook just like Anne Frank’s diary, Swindon Wildcats
