Second curry night marks 30 years of Swindon Link
Another cashback curry night at the Bombay Lounge restaurant at Peatmoor Centre on 17 February brought together good company who raised
£600 to aid four locally run charities to mark three decades of The Link magazine. The evenings also celebrated the fi rst year of charity commit-
ment by Hanif Robani, owner of the Bombay Lounge, who donated £15,000 from profi ts during 2008.

Lifeline at a Swindon Town FC curry night
Ros Fitton, wife of Swindon Town Football Club owner Andrew, has
launched a branch of CCLL in Richmond, South London.
On 20 April she is organising a curry night at the Bombay Lounge with
support from the club. Manager Danny Wilson will attend with some of
his players. Tickets at £20 are available only from the STFC box offi ce.
