New services at Toothill medical practice
In response to the popularity of its evening GP surgeries, the Phoenix
Surgery in Toothill has launched an evening travel clinic and well
woman clinic for patients registered at the practice.
Practice nurse manager Sue Godfrey said some patients will find the
evening clinics a lot more convenient. “The practice appreciates that it
can sometimes be difficult for working patients to get a chance to attend
for travel jabs, smears and well-woman advice.”

MS centre still needs lots of money
The big fundraising push is on to ensure that Swindon Therapy Centre
for Multiple Sclerosis can meet the bills incurred for the conversion
of their new centre at Evolution House on Westmead Drive, Westlea,
as well as its annual running costs.
The charity receives no NHS funding and relies entirely on support
from business, community groups, schools, churches and individuals.
For details call Jackie Wray on 481700.
